Non-Cash Gifts

Here to answer your questions.

Non-Cash Gifts

Giving non-cash gifts to a nonprofit can seem a bit scary. What if the nonprofit does something wrong and it appears to the IRS at the end of the year that I made more money than I did which means I would need to pay taxes on that increase? This is a legitimate question and concern. Hence, we have partnered with the National Christian Foundation and the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta to service donors who want to give a non-cash gift. These organizations specialize in liquidating non-cash gifts, depositing the proceeds into a Donor Advised Fund which then allows you, the donor, to give the money to the nonprofit without your annual income increasing and paying capital gains tax. If you would like to give a non-cash gift to Exceeding The Mark, send us a note on the Contact Page and we will get back with you within 48 hours.
